This is just a poem I wrote a few years ago.

Today I woke up & started to see things a little more clearly.
For the first time in my life the edge between the road and the sky became a blur and the boundaries transcended each other, the horizon seemed a lifetime closer and I think I get why the sky is blue.
Today when I was walking down the road I looked up and understood the shape that power lines make when they intersect as the tree's and birds shift into a backdrop.
I’m starting to think that there might not be a difference between you & me aside from the perceptions that we create ourselves & one another.
Today I visited my neighbor’s old house, and I began to accept the fact that I’m going to die and die alone, and it helped me to comprehend that nothing in life is consequential and the universe is indifferent towards us.
We live uniquely and individually in an isolated and hostile world & nothing we can do will change the fact that we have no one.
A lot of people think that this bleakens life, but in reality this realization will liberate you, as it did me.
Free your mind, because life is ephemeral and you might not have the chance tomorrow.
Take a stand, grab a chance and make a change.
